About Us Audire: Present Active Infinitive of Audio Hearing is one of our most primeval senses, one that nature and theory of evolution has honed most sharply. In our ancient quest for artistic endeavors, human kind chanced on music, starting with basic beats and rhythms, and progressing thereon to making complex instruments, and ensembles of musicians. And it’s a fixation that holds true even now. Music, like someone once said, is what feeling sounds like. Four years ago, a young man, decided to embark on a quest to make a budget speaker system along with his father; something he could place in his house, and listen to for hours on end without any listening fatigue and full resolution. He and his father made many such speaker systems in their quest for perfection, and while they were never satisfied with what they made, all the speakers lying around in their lab made a lot of people sit and take notice. Some of the people expressed a wish to listen to these speakers, a wish which was granted immediately, and once completed, had the same people making another wish, a wish to release these speakers into the market! A couple of years of rigorous listening and testing later, Audire Technologies opened their doors to welcome all the audiophiles in India to share their love of realistic musical reproduction. Starting with eight different models of single driver speakers, three amplifiers, power conditioners and rack systems, Audire took centre stage in the Indian hi fi scene. Now, many years later, Audire Technologies is a full-fledged audio manufacturing company with many technicians, diverse interests, a complete vibration and resonance research facility, and a product line that suits anyone on this planet!
The original standard line single driver systems (The Chimera, Osiris, Callisto, Echelon Alpha, Echelon Beta, Echelon Gamma and the Callisto Bookshelf System, in addition to the brand new truhorn IO2, and IO2 Transpare LE speakers). The Andromeda Lineage, reference grade single driver loudspeakers including the AF1, the AF1.5s Bookshelf and the EM2.5 electromagnetic loudspeakers, featuring the exotic Feastrex single drivers from Mr. Hal Teramoto). Amplifiers (the titan monoblock/integrated, argus, solaris, the new metis 25wpc class A amplifier, a complete line of custom digital amplification solutions powered by Bang and Olufsen and Hypex Power). These amplifiers are also available in a multiple box reference design. Power Conditioners including the Zephyr line conditioner, Halcyon audio grade servo system, the new Shamal reference grade line conditioner, and the Sirocco bespoke power solution for high end home and commercial installations. The world's first true pneumatic magnetic levitation platform system HERCules, custom made audio racks, Audireplat resonance control platforms, Audireflot cable towers, and complete isolation solutions. All these products are designed using software, developed in-house, which helps us optimize the speaker cabinet to ensure maximal transfer of energy to the port/passive radiator with minimal coloration. We run complex multi physic simulation software which enable us to predict everything from acoustic travel inside a cabinet to vibration / thermal issues in our electronic systems. All of our products are first CNC machined using complex 5 axis routers, and then assembled under varying conditions of temperature and pressure. All our products are finally sanded down and finished, by our master craftsmen who have years of experience in their field, to achieve the perfect flawless product! All of our products are available in a dizzying array of finishes, in fact, there is no other single manufacturer in the world who can deliver such a vast array of finishes; everything from paint, to Xirallic, to metal cladding, airbrushing, veneers, and even hand stitched leather. Apart from these products, Audire also currently hosts a fully equipped vibration and resonance control research lab where each of our products, parts and materials are measured using cutting edge analyzers to understand the true nature of vibration and resonance dispersion (the biggest enemy of audio reproduction!) Our research in this field has vastly increased our knowhow on the creation of stiff, rigid colorless cabinets for all our products. Audire is also currently embarking on an ambitious project of creating an audiophile-recording label in India, which will feature Indian musicians in an accessible audiophile format. Our aim is not to bring the musicians into your home, but rather, by creating colorless, precise, dynamic and resolved audio equipment, to take you to the musician's recording venue, where if you close your eyes and listen, you will be transported to musical ecstasy.
